Girdwood Outdoors Ltd ('we', 'us') is the data controller for personal data collected through this website and our booking process. We are based in Jersey and registered with the Jersey Office of the Information Commissioner.

We collect: booking data via SuperSaaS (name, email, phone, participant ages, medical/accessibility notes, payment metadata — your card details never reach our servers); enquiry data via this website's form; and anonymous, aggregated site analytics via Vercel.

Lawful bases under Jersey Data Protection Law 2018: contract performance for bookings; legitimate interests for enquiry responses and analytics; explicit consent for medical and accessibility notes (special category data under Article 9). You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.

Under-18 participants: the booker confirms they have parental responsibility for any participants under 18. Schools handle their own consent processes via permission slips.

We share data with: SuperSaaS (booking platform), Stripe (payment processor, via SuperSaaS), Resend (transactional email), Sanity (CMS), Vercel (hosting), Cloudflare (Turnstile anti-spam), Google Workspace (owner email). Each is under a written data processing agreement. International transfers rely on UK adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses where required.

Retention: booking records are kept for the duration of the customer relationship plus six years (under the Prescription and Limitation (Jersey) Law 1960). Enquiry emails are deleted from our inbox after 12 months unless converted to a booking.

Cookies: we set no non-essential cookies. Cloudflare Turnstile sets strictly necessary security cookies (cf_chl_*) to detect automated abuse — these are exempt from consent under PECR/UK-GDPR/Jersey DPL.

Your rights under Jersey DPL include access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. To exercise any of these, email hello@girdwoodoutdoors.je. You may also complain to the Jersey Office of the Information Commissioner at jerseyoic.org.
